Serial Communication Adapters Instruction Manual

Installation

Figure 1 shows the connection of a DM61 meter to a PC using the

101B224-06 serial adapter. The 101B224-06 has an RJ45 connector to

connect the Cat5e cable and a PC compatible 9-pin D subminiature

connector (DB9). The DB9 can be connected directly to the PC or by

using a standard serial extension cable.
